SCHEDULE FOR JANUARY 20, 2012 (Friday)

    ATTENTION:    All Students

 

        Please be informed of the following SCHEDULE FOR JANUARY 20, 2012 (Friday)

 

1.    No formal classes but all students should come.

 

2.    First Year sections: RUBY and TOPAZ, five (5) sections of Third Year (Cs, Li, Rb, Na and Mg)

        should come at 7:30 for the MATH Exams.

 

3.    All other students should come at 9:00 A.M.

 

4.    Student's Attire: Batch shirt and maong pants. Always wear ID's.

 

5.    There will be a GENERAL ASSEMBLY at the Flagpole Area at 9:00 A.M for the briefing on

        YMSAT Activities.

 

6.    Student's official time shall be until 4:30 P.M.

 

7.    YMSAT opening salvo shall be from 4:30 - 7:00 pm.

  • Mga hindi pa nagbabayad ng YMSAT SHIRTS, please pay tomorrow! :) Give the payments to me haha :D. Naaalala nyo naman orders nyo diba? Nasstress na kasi yung mga nag-aayos so bawasan natin stress nila :)).
  • For exhibit groups, Read :).
  • Econ Business Plans are also due tomorrow. :)

  • Bio Whatnot due tomorrow :)) (by groups)


EDIT. EXHIBIT PEOPLE. :)) READ
Please come on time tom, 9am. Flagpole area muna for the quick orientation. Please don't bring extra stuff (books, music players, etc), baka magka-walaan lang kayo ng gamit. Just bring:

1. YOUR PROJECTS
2. Your boards/banners/signs
3. Set-up materials (masking tape, scissors, paint, etc)
4. Extension cords

To those groups who want to switch set-ups (sa mga nakausap at di ko pa nakakausap), let's settle everything tomorrow. Just email me your requests para may organized documentation tayo, para alam kung sinong nauna, etc. If you want to switch, tell us first.

FYI you shall be graded tomorrow: quickness, efficiency, cleanliness, and progress of your exhibits. I know some of you can't finish everyting tomorrow, knowing how very good crammers Pisay kids are. Pero sana matapos na lahat by tomorrow, para wala nang problems sa Monday or Tuesday. OK? Best exhibit tomorrow wins a prize. :)

SCHEDULE:
9AM: Assembly, orientation
9:15AM: Proceed to the Gym Exhibit Hall, start of set-up
11:30-1: Lunchbreak
1-4:30PM: Continue set-ups, checking, initial peer evaluation
4:30PM-7PM: Opening party (COME IN SCI COSTUME)

*Party isn't required, but wouldn't it be a great way to end a tiring day?

Reminders for tomorrow

1. Wear your batch shirt or any blue shirt and jeans.

2. Our official time is from 9 AM - 4:30 PM. There will be an seembly at the flag pole area at 9 AM tomorrow for science fair reminders.

3. The opening of the science fair would be from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The theme is cosplay. It is optional (but would be fun!).

Star Scholar Orientation Reminder

To the participants for DLSU Star Scholar Orientation tomorrow, your meeting time is at 7am at the front lobby. Wear their school uniform and ID.

REMINDERS:
  • Sa lahat ng nag-order ng shirt for ymsat, payments are due tomorrow. Php 250 per shirt. Please pay to Mikee.
  • Schedule of visit to the MRF tomorrow: Graviton - 10:20-10:30. Assembly will be in front of the GRHM. Please be there 5 minutes before the assigned time so that we can accomodate all sections. Attendance will be checked
YMSAT Exhibit groups, message from Sir Gerson:
EXHIBIT KIDS! Some reminders!
Meeting on January 18, 2012. Wednesday. ASTB Exhibit Hall. Please be on time!

Exhibit set-up details:
  1. For spider stand set-us, your printed tarps should be 2ft (h) by 5ft (w)
  2. For easel stand groups, your banner/info board should be printed or mounted on a hard cardboard/foamboard/illustration board surface, atleast 2ft (h) by 3ft (w).
  3. For wide table groups, your info boards should be freestanding, ideally 3 panels stuck together, atleast 2ft high.
  4. Scheduled set-up is on Friday, 9am onwards.
  5. Each group should bring the following:
    • Masking tape
    • Scissors/cutter
    • Markers/paint
    • Aluminum wire
    • Glue
  6. Please note your new theme groups, I changed it up a bit.
  7. GANDAHAN NIYO ANG PANELS NIYO PARANG AWA NYO NA, BAWAL COMIC SANS / PARTY LET / CURLZ MT K? Salamat.
  8. Don't hesitate to ask me to review/check your layouts, panels, designs, etc. LET'S MAKE THIS THE BEST SCIENCE FAIR EXHIBIT PISAY EVER HAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Presidential Scholarship at iAcademy

If you are interested to apply for Presidential Scholarship at iAcademy. Some of the requirements are:
- should belong to top 5% of the graduating batch
- must enroll in BS Computer Science with specialization in Software Engineering program
- the annual gross income of the family must not exceed Php 300,000

If interested, you may visit the Guidance Center for other details.

Star Scholar Orientation
